You may browse BumpitorDumpit.com and interact with other members without registering for a Backstage account.
Account Users
In order to receive prizes, access artists and create your personal profile page, chat rooms etc..., you must at least register for a Backstage account. We do ask for some personal information such as email address and password which is used to protect your account from unauthorized use . If you would like to participate in the prize winning, we will need some more detailed information such as personal address, valid phone number, etc... to send prizes you may win on BumpitorDumpit.com. Registration of any account allows you access to many additional features on BumpitorDumpit.com.
Usage Information
We will log information about your usage, such as how long and how many times you log on, your voting habits (genre you prefer), artists you appreciate the most and least, the contacts you have within the site, settings and other important information. If logged in, we will track this information within your account. We will use clear "Web Beacons " in HTML formatted emails to track which emails are opened by the recipients.
Content Uploaded to Site
Any personal information or music content that you voluntarily disclose online ( in chat areas, on your profile page etc..) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.
USES
If you submit personally identifiable information to us through BumpitorDumpit, we use your personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of BumpitorDumpit, as well as provide personal features for you. Your account name is displayed to other users when you log on and they may send you messages etc... Any music submitted on BumpitorDumpit may be redistributed through the internet and other media sources, and could be viewed by the general public. We do not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing materials without your consent unless as a part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to decide to accept or not. We may however, use your email address without your consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes to notify you of changes and upgrading of services and/or contacting you for customer service issues. We use both your personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information to improve the quality and design of BumpitorDumpit as well as to create new features, promotions, functionality and services by storing,tracking and analyzing user preferences and trends. We use cookies, clear gifs and log information to (a) store information so that you won't have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit BumpitorDumpit; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc... and (e) track your entries, submissions, and promotions, sweepstakes and contests.

You may decline to submit personally identifiable information through BumpitorDumpit, in which case you can still vote for your favorite artists and explore BumpitorDumpit, however, BumpitorDumpit may not be able to provide certain services to you. Some advanced features may, for authentication purposes, require you to sign up for at minimum a Backstage account or other BumpitorDumpit services. The privacy notices of those services that govern the use of your personal information associated with them. You may update or correct your personal profile information and email preferences at any time.
